Every purchase at Grayce helps fight children’s malnutrition

At Grayce, we are proud to announce our official partnership with a non-profit organization that is near and dear to our hearts. To Cry For Grace is a project founded by Brianna Dale, the sister of our founder, Courtney. We are passionate about partnering with another female-founded organization dedicated to combatting malnutrition in children living in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

TCFG's story starts when Bri went to visit the island of Idjwi for the first time in 2016 and met Grace. Grace was a 6 year old orphan trapped in a body dying of malnutrition. Moved by the extreme need in the area, Bri returned home and made plans to move to Idjwi and take care of Grace and a few other children. Before she could return, she got a message that Grace had died.

Sadly, this was just part of life on Idjwi. There was no one there to intervene or help these families. There was no one there to cry for Grace.

Bri returned and began life serving the most severely malnourished children. Today, To Cry For Grace is multi-faceted 501C-3 organization including two different children's homes, a malnutrition clinic, and a large-scale community malnutrition education and prevention program. Their goal is to acutely treat severely malnourished children whose survival is at risk while also empowering and educating families to be able to safely and effectively care for their own children once again.
